What is the program about?
This program is looking for short animations or motion comics that celebrate Malaysia's identity, patriotism, and unity.
Yes, the deadline to submit proposals for Stage 1 is November 13th, 2024 (11:59 PM). You must register first to get the submission link.
Only Companies, enterprises, sole proprietorships, partnerships, and Limited Liability Partnerships registered in Malaysia with at least 51% Malaysian ownership can apply. (Individual applications are not accepted.)
You cannot be a broadcaster, television network, OTT platform, or media company.
You need to have a track record, portfolio, and experience in animation or motion comics.
There are two stages: Proposal Submission (Stage 1) and Project Completion and Deliverables (Stage 2).

Project Development: If your proposal is selected, you will be awarded the funding and invited to develop and produce your project.
Final Judging and Payment: Upon completion, your project will be evaluated, and you will receive full payment.

A project proposal with details like storyline, character list, mood board, motion board, a 5-minute pitching video, and a label file.
Applicants can submit multiple entries in different categories, but can only receive one award among all categories.
Judges will consider factors like:
a) Message & Impact (20%) - Clarity and Effectiveness
b) Storytelling & Animation (20%) - Creativity and Engagement
c) Originality of Theme (20%) - Uniqueness and Relevance
d) Educational Value (20%) - Accuracy of Information and Sparking of Curiosity
e) Technical Execution (20%) - Animation Quality and Overall Production Value
What are the requirements for Stage 2?
If you are selected to move on to Stage 2, you will be given further instructions on how to complete and upload your final video project.
What are the video requirements?
The requirements will vary depending on the category (short animation or motion comic) you choose. They include video duration, format, resolution, language, and end credits.
What kind of content can I submit?
The content must be new, original, and not published before. It should avoid sensitive topics and be appropriate for all audiences.
Can I use existing characters?
Yes, you can use your existing or established characters in your project.
What rights do the organizers have to my work?
By submitting your entry, you grant the organizers the right to use your animation or motion comic for promotional purposes.
Do I retain ownership of my work?
Yes, you retain ownership of your work. However, you grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it as described above.
